Serving as CEO since 2014, Chai Outmezguine is a proficient member of Scanbuy’s founding team. As CEO, his leadership is evident across all facets of the company, from innovation to implementation. Over two decades, Chai’s experience has ranged from General Counsel to Global Business Development, and he remains active in creating strategic business partnerships and forming groundbreaking international commercial alliances. Graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, and the Law School of Essex University in England, Chai also earned a B.A. in Finance from the Business School of IEA, Paris. On behalf of Scanbuy, Chai holds several patents related to the decoding and use of linear and two-dimensional barcodes.
Daniel Daly joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in September 2012 to oversee the financial, investor, and corporate reporting functions. As Scanbuy continues to redefine the business landscape through mobile engagment, Daniel focuses on managing the company’s strategic growth and global market impact. Before coming to Scanbuy, he provided guidance for corporations seeking to drive accountability and improve the effectiveness of financial reporting. Daniel graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. in Accounting and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he spent almost ten years servicing audit clients in manufacturing, technology, entertainment, and communications.
Maryann Moschides is Chief Marketing Officer at Scanbuy, where she heads the company’s Consumer Engagement Business Division. Maryann is responsible for driving growth through innovative digital services, technology solutions and excellence in customer service. She is active in the SmartLabel transparency initiative and launching of Shoppable TV. She has extensive experience across the full spectrum of marketing disciplines, which plays an important role in elevating Scanbuy’s reputation around the globe. Prior to joining Scanbuy, Maryann held executive positions at several leading-edge companies and founded Zayle Marketing. She earned her MBA in Business Administration at Mount Saint Mary College.
Chuck Ennis joined Scanbuy in 2014 to launch its Data Business. He continues to lead Scanbuy’s Data Business Division, which has since become an industry leader in the area of mobile consumer shopping data, having built multi-year product shopping profiles for 200M US mobile consumers. Before joining Scanbuy, Chuck spent over 20 years focused on data and analytics, in developing leadership roles within a variety of settings ranging from start-up/expansion companies to Fortune 100.
With broad industry experience, Didier Franz serves as VP of Product & Innovation, pioneering new ways to revolutionize the business of daily life through mobile engagement. After co-founding Scanbuy in 2000, he led the company’s finance, operations, and product management divisions. While away from Scanbuy from 2008 to 2015, Didier participated in the launch of a digital receipts startup and initiated a mobile development boutique specializing in gaming and location-based services. He rejoined Scanbuy to lead the company’s focus on product and innovation. Early in his career, Didier worked as a strategic and organizational consultant for Société Générale in France, UK and Indonesia. Graduating from HEC, France’s leading business school, he is the holder of several patents in barcode decoding and related mobile services.
